Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there was a big apple tree that bore sweet and delicious apples. The tree was home to several animals and birds, and they all loved to visit the tree often to feast on the apples. One day, a monkey came across the apple tree and was fascinated by its fruits. The monkey was a notorious thief and used to steal food from other animals.

As the monkey climbed the apple tree, it saw some apples hanging from the branches. It jumped and tried to grab one, but it was out of reach. The monkey was determined to get the apples and thought of a plan. It plucked some leaves from the tree and covered the apples with them, making them look like leaves.

The next day, the monkey saw that the animals and birds were eating the apples from the tree. The monkey felt happy that its plan had worked. It then went ahead and picked up the remaining apples and started to eat them. Suddenly, it saw a mouse walking by. The monkey called out to the mouse and offered an apple to it. The mouse was surprised and happy to receive the apple. It asked the monkey, “Why are you giving me this apple?”

The monkey replied, “I want to be kind to you. You seem like a nice creature, and I want to share my food with you.” The mouse felt grateful to the monkey and ate the apple. The next day, the monkey saw the mouse again and offered it another apple. This continued for many days, and the monkey and the mouse became good friends.

One day, while the monkey was sitting on the tree, it saw a hunter approaching with a net. The monkey was scared and didn’t know what to do. It then remembered the mouse and called out to it for help. The mouse heard the monkey’s cries and immediately ran towards the hunter. The mouse bit the hunter’s toe, and he screamed in pain. The hunter was so shocked that he dropped the net, and the monkey escaped safely.

The monkey felt grateful to the mouse and thanked it for saving its life. From that day, the monkey realized that stealing from others was not the right thing to do. It learned that being kind and helping others was the true path to happiness. The monkey and the mouse continued to be friends, and they lived happily ever after.

The story teaches us that our actions have consequences, and what goes around comes around. If we do good things, good things will happen to us, and if we do bad things, we will face the consequences. It also teaches us the value of friendship and the importance of helping others in need.
