Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a duck and a hen. They were neighbors and had known each other for years. The duck was a happy-go-lucky bird who loved to swim in the nearby pond and play with her friends. The hen, on the other hand, was a serious bird who spent most of her time laying eggs and taking care of her chicks.

One day, the duck and the hen had an argument about who was more important. The duck argued that she was better because she could swim, fly, and play. The hen countered by saying that she was more important because she could lay eggs, which were a source of food for humans.

The argument went on for hours, and neither bird was willing to back down. Finally, an old wise owl who lived in the same village heard about their argument and decided to intervene.

The owl said to the two birds, “My dear friends, both of you are equally important. The duck can swim and fly, which is a great gift. The hen can lay eggs, which is also a great gift. Each of you has your own unique talents, and you must appreciate them and use them for the betterment of society.”

The duck and the hen understood the wisdom in the owl’s words and made amends. They realized that they were both important in their own ways, and that they should not compare themselves to one another.

However, their newfound friendship was put to the test when a hungry fox entered the village. The fox was known for preying on birds, and the duck and the hen were afraid for their lives. They decided to work together to protect themselves.

The duck used her wings to distract the fox while the hen led her chicks to safety. The fox was so focused on catching the duck that he didn’t notice the hen and her chicks escaping.

In the end, the duck and the hen realized that their friendship and teamwork had saved their lives. They also learned that it was not just about their individual talents, but about working together for a greater cause.

From that day on, the duck and the hen became inseparable friends, and the village prospered with their collaboration. The villagers saw the importance of unity and the power of teamwork, and they learned to appreciate everyone’s unique talents and contributions.

The End.
