A Carrot and a Chilli formerly resided in a lush green vegetable garden. The carrot bragged about being the healthiest vegetable in the garden and was proud of his vivid orange colour. On the other hand, the chilli had a reputation for having a spicy flavour and was regarded as the garden’s most useful vegetable.
They heard a wise old sage strolling by one day as they were debating who was more advantageous. The sage heard their disagreement and made the decision to step in.
“My dear vegetables,” the sage remarked. “Each of you is distinctive in its own way. You are a very healthy and advantageous carrot, in fact. You are really helpful, chill, and you enhance the flavour of the cuisine. However, since both of you are important, you shouldn’t argue over who is superior”.
